Stats from Angajatori de TOP Tech 2021 – 75 % of companies is now recruiting for remote roles

The virtual job fair Angajatori de TOP Tech 2021, organized by Catalyst Solutions, a Romanian human resources consulting company, includes over 2000 career opportunities, offered by 42 of the most important technology companies in Romania. As much as 75% of the employers present at this edition offer remote jobs, from which 10% are fully remote.

Angajatori de TOP Tech 2021 event is taking place online from September 27 to October 31, 2021. After looking at the numbers from this edition, about a quarter of employers have up to 50% more open positions this fall, compared to last year. Among the companies present at the fair, 60% recruits in Bucharest, Timișoara 48%, Cluj-Napoca 25%, Iași 20%, Brașov and Pitești 22%, Ploiești and Craiova 14%, Arad, Constanța, Târgu Mureș, Oradea – 20%. To make it easier, candidates can look up the Map of Technology Centers in Romania to discover the jobs available in the cities of interest.

Besides offering technical jobs, over half of employers recruit specialists for non-technical positions in the departments like Marketing, HR, Finance, Sales, Legal, Administrative.

Also, approximately half of the companies offer programs like internships and traineeships, and 14% recruits for training programs and academies.

At this edition one-third of employers recruit for positions dedicated to professionals, and 7% offer opportunities are dedicated to experienced Managers, Project Managers and Team Leaders.

 

More benefits for candidates

Among the technology companies present at TOP Tech Employers 2021, 33% offer programs focused on the well-being and mental health of employees and are ready to extend benefits from private medical subscriptions;

44% of employers gladly will reimburse the costs of courses and programs for the improvement of professional skills; And 5% will offer grants as a monthly amount for the settlement of maintenance for employees who work 100% remotely.

Between 18 and 27 October, during the event, we will host TechTalks ONLINE – a series of 12 laboratories and 3 conferences dedicated to tech candidates, held by local and international specialists from the participating companies. The labs will address topics in the areas of Automotive & Connectivity, Engineering, Front-end & Back-end, Girls in STEM, Tech Trends for a Tech year. At the same time, the conferences will focus on Java, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning technologies.
