DevAfterWork Case Study – HARMAN Ladies do tech!

DevAfterWork concept belongs to the DevTalks network of events. Our team works very hard, working on series of bigger and smaller events throughout the year to keep the IT Community together and deliver valuable content. At the moment, we have in our network over 16 0000 IT professionals and developers from all over Romania and abroad.

DevAfterWork started its journey as informal, relaxed meetups where company representatives share their know-how with IT&C Community. Each event is an opportunity to discuss ideas, new insights and pass message about your new initiatives in the IT field.

Every company can book their event by contacting our team at angajatori@catalyst.ro

Here is an example of how you can use DevAfterWork format to boost your employer branding and make the workplace a better place!

About the client

HARMAN is an automotive company that designs products and solutions that are advancing a seamless connected life. To help create a connected experience enjoyable for all, they constantly are on a lookout for a workforce that represents their consumers.

The challenge

HARMAN was looking for a network of passionate automotive representatives who would be inspired to change the dynamics of the industry. At the same time, they wanted to bring to the attention diversity issues in the tech industry and fact that women are often underrepresented.

Solution

DevAfterWork event was a perfect opportunity to show how HARMAN as an Employer supports women and offers them full access to opportunities that drive their careers forward.

By meeting some of HARMANS amazing tech ladies and hearing their inspiring career stories we and the IT community learned that HARMAN is serious about diversity at their workplace and has all the tools to make it work!
