Currently, the coronavirus pandemic affects every area of the business, and when business is people the situation gets really serious. Cancellation of job fairs, more or less formal industry meetings, closed universities and inability to organize any kind of events – these are some of the challenges that employer branding is facing for the first time.
In the context of the Romanian EB calendar, the coronavirus caught us at the worst possible moment. It is in spring that the EB initiatives on the campuses are sprouting and the career fair season begins, which for many companies is the most important manifestation of activity in the academic environment.
Time to think ahead
Despite much of the world in lockdown businesses need to go on. While every company will be affected differently, many of you will continue to recruit the talent that your company needs now and will need after we all get through this. Is also likely that some companies will become more aggressive in poaching candidates.
